   At this point, I'm convinced that online friendships and IRL friendships don't fill the same niche at all. Sure, they both bring good stuff to the table, but they check different boxes.

     It's like riding a regular bicycle versus riding an e-bike versus riding a motorcycle. They're all fun, but they aren't the same.
