Torque is the force that ends up being used for movement (acceleration, etc.), while horsepower is indicative of how fast the vehicle can run. When something has a lot of torque but not much horsepower, it can pull hard but can't go very fast. :3c

It's funny how the auto industry's work to "ensure" that everyone needs to drive everywhere, thus creating horrible traffic congestion because it doesn't scale very well, is the biggest problem that people face driving cars today. :P

Cars work a lot better when there are fewer of them on the road, so maybe forcing everyone to drive, thus clogging up roads, is actually the best way to make them worse. :P

A #tachometer isn't really necessary on a #motorcycle once the rider becomes familiar enough with the engine 🤔

When something can rev to a really high RPM, it means that it can move the vehicle at a given speed in a lower gear, which gives the engine more mechanical advantage and thus a stronger pull than if it was in a higher gear. 🤔 #motorcycle

Apparently my CBR650R makes both more torque and more horsepower than the CB750 of old. :3c
It also makes slightly more horsepower than the new CB750 Hornet twin, but less torque.
